National Rates
According to the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Facts and Figures 2010 1, it is estimated that there will be 207,090 new cases of female breast cancer and 39,840 women will succumb to this disease.
New Mexico Rates
In New Mexico, the American Cancer Society ‘s Cancer Facts and Figures 2010, estimates that 1,180 new cases of female breast cancer will be diagnosed1,with 230 expected to die from the disease.
